About Chef

I discovered my passion for food at a young age, growing up in a Vietnamese household where both of my parents were cooks. I was inspired by watching sushi chefs in movies and shows like Iron Chef, which sparked my desire to pursue a career in sushi. I began my journey in San Diego, where I helped open Saiko Sushi in Coronado. Wanting to expand my palate and learn from different cities and culinary cultures, I later moved to Austin, Texas. There, I worked at Sushi Bar ATX and Sushi by Scratch, refining my craft and deepening my appreciation for high-end omakase dining. I bring over 16 years of experience as a sushi chef, including 6 years specializing in omakase. Sushi isn’t just what I do—it’s part of my life and my love language. Adam did an at home Omakase at a friend's house. It was delicious, fresh and a lot of food. He made the party themed and a lot of fun. It was awesome seeing him prepare each dish in person. Thank you Adam for an event I'll remember for a lifetime. Will want to do it again!!
